Salary by segment — the part most websites hide
A single "average salary" for this job would mislead you. What you are actually offered depends mostly on experience and on company type — a direct company almost always pays more than a supply (manpower) company for the same work:

What the job involves
Light vehicle, company, taxi and heavy vehicle driving across the Emirates. A UAE driving licence is required for almost all roles — licences from some countries convert, others require full lessons and tests in the UAE, which costs money and time (see the licence notes on the UAE hub).

Can I work as a driver in the UAE on a visit visa?
No. You need a work visa arranged by the employer and a UAE driving licence for the vehicle category. Driving commercially on a visit visa is illegal and uninsured.
Is a Pakistani or Indian licence enough to drive for work in the UAE?
Not by itself. Some nationalities can convert their home licence; Pakistanis and Indians generally must take lessons and pass the UAE test. Budget for that cost before you travel.
Why do taxi driver postings show higher pay?
Taxi income usually mixes a smaller fixed salary with commission on fares. In a slow month the commission part falls — ask for the fixed-vs-commission split in writing.
